LeVar Burton (Levardis Robert Martyn Burton, Jr.) ist ein in Deutschland geborener Schauspieler (wie so viele: Bruce Willis, Allison Mack, Dominic Monaghan, Jeri Ryan, Martin Lawrence…), der bei uns durch seine Rolle des Geordi La Forge in der Star Trek-Serie The Next Generation bekannt wurde. In den USA war er schon lange vorher bekannt und zumindest dort zum Beginn von TNG bekannter als Patrick Stewart. Seine anderen Shows, Roots und Reading Rainbow werden in der Folge auch erwähnt, sind aber bei uns glaube ich beide komplett unbekannt.
